This policy explains how NIVOMAX software, demonstrations, interface images and non-public product information should be presented and shared.
It applies to the NIVOMAX software platform and related materials. The applicable license, evaluation, confidentiality and service agreements govern permitted use and any contractual remedies. This page does not amend those agreements.
1. Software identity and ownership
NIVOMAX remains a Synaxiom software platform. Applying Licensee branding or using NIVOMAX to deliver a service does not transfer ownership of the software or authorize the Licensee to rename it.
Keep the identity of the Licensee's service distinct from the NIVOMAX software used to provide that service. Use the official platform, application and extension-module names when referring to the software.
2. Demonstrating released software
A Licensee may demonstrate its authorized use of released NIVOMAX software as part of the service it provides, within the permissions of its applicable agreements and the rights associated with the data being shown.
The demonstration may explain the NIVOMAX capabilities used to deliver that service. Those capabilities must not be represented as software developed or owned by the Licensee.
For example, a Licensee may explain that its technical-publications service is powered by NIVOMAX and that Horizon is used to view publications through that service.
Claims must reflect the version, applications, delivery editions and licensed capabilities actually being demonstrated. A capability shown in an evaluation environment should not be presented as available in a customer's production service unless it is available there.
3. Public interface images and recordings
Before publishing or distributing real NIVOMAX interface screenshots, recordings or demonstrations, obtain Synaxiom's written approval unless that use has already been expressly authorized in an applicable agreement or written permission.
Approval for one material or use does not automatically authorize other interfaces, versions, recordings or distribution channels.
Request approved graphics and wording when preparing public-facing materials. NIVOMAX graphics supplied for public communication may be illustrative representations. They should not be described as exact copies of an application's interface unless Synaxiom has identified them as such.
4. Prerelease and evaluation software
Use prerelease, beta and evaluation software only for the purposes permitted by the relevant agreement or written authorization.
Do not publish or share non-public interfaces, demonstrations, technical information or evaluation material without Synaxiom's prior written authorization. Access to an evaluation environment does not itself authorize public disclosure.
Do not present an unreleased capability as generally available or use prerelease software for production or commercial delivery unless Synaxiom has expressly authorized that use in writing.
5. Roadmaps and confidential information
Non-public roadmaps, plans, upcoming features and technical information must be handled according to the applicable confidentiality obligations and disclosure permissions.
Do not redistribute that information merely because it was discussed during a demonstration or supplied to a customer team.
A roadmap identifies a direction or planned capability. It does not establish availability, a delivery date or a contractual commitment unless that commitment is expressly included in an applicable agreement.
6. Licensee service branding
Licensees may present the service they provide using NIVOMAX under their own service identity. Permitted branding locations and naming restrictions are described in the Licensee Branding Guide.
That guide is the canonical public reference for Licensee branding. Service branding must preserve a clear distinction between the Licensee's service and the NIVOMAX software platform.
7. Customer data and supplied materials
A software demonstration permission does not grant permission to disclose a customer's technical publications, personal information or other confidential material.
Confirm the rights and permissions for the data being shown. Use suitable sample data when the necessary customer authorization has not been obtained.
NIVOMAX documentation and supplied brand assets remain subject to their stated permissions. Do not modify or rebrand supplied materials outside those permissions.
8. Agreements and enforcement
Permitted use, confidentiality obligations, access restrictions and any remedies are governed by the applicable agreements and law.
Publishing a revision to this page does not itself change a customer's agreement. Where an agreement expressly incorporates a policy or guide, its applicable incorporation and version provisions govern.
9. Questions and approval requests
Contact Synaxiom before using material or making a disclosure when the applicable permission is unclear.
Describe the software version, material, intended audience and proposed distribution so the request can be assessed.
