About NIVOMAX

Q. What is NIVOMAX?

NIVOMAX is a modern aviation technical publications platform used by OEMs, MRO organizations, and operators to access, view, and interact with digital manuals across S1000D, iSpec 2200, ATA, legacy formats, and more.

NIVOMAX provides the platform. Your manuals and access rights are issued by your Content Provider (OEM or Publications Supplier).

Q. Who is my Content Provider?

Your Content Provider is the organization that distributes your technical publications and issues your Data License, which determines which manuals your organization can access.

Q. What is the difference between NIVOMAX and my Content Provider?

  • Content Provider → Owns & distributes the manuals, and issues Data Licenses.
  • NIVOMAX → Provides the platform you use to access and interact with that content.

NIVOMAX does not sell manuals or issue Data Licenses.

Licensing & Access

Q. What is a Data License?

A Data License (Content / Manuals Access License) is the entitlement your Content Provider gives you to access their publications and to use NIVOMAX. Only your Content Provider can enable NIVOMAX access—Synaxiom cannot issue Data Licenses.

A Data License is separate from NIVOMAX Platform Access, but it is required before your access can be activated.

Q. Do I need to purchase a license from NIVOMAX?

No. Your Content Provider grants your Data License. Synaxiom does not charge end-users to activate or use NIVOMAX.

Q. I have multiple suppliers. Will they all appear in my NIVOMAX account?

It depends on how your Content Providers choose to distribute their libraries.

  • If multiple Content Providers use NIVOMAX and have coordinated to present their libraries together, then combined access is possible.
  • However, in most cases, each Content Provider distributes their own separate NIVOMAX app with a unique distribution ID, and your libraries will appear independently.

This behavior is determined entirely by the Content Providers’ configuration and agreements, not by a restriction in NIVOMAX.

If you’re unsure how your setup is configured, contact the Provider who issued your Data License.

Account Activation

Q. How do I log into NIVOMAX?

NIVOMAX access is provided through your Content Provider’s Self-Serve Portal.

Synaxiom does not distribute applications or issue login credentials.

To access NIVOMAX:

  1. Go to your Content Provider’s Self-Serve Portal (SSP)
  2. Sign in using the credentials or SSO they issued
  3. You will be routed into the NIVOMAX services associated with your Data License

If you’re unsure which portal to use, contact your Content Provider or reach out to us for assistance.

Q. I received an invitation. What does it mean?

It means your Content Provider added you to their authorized user pool.

Follow the activation link to create your user profile.

Q. I don’t have login credentials. How do I get access?

Only your Content Provider can issue access based on your Data Licenses.

Reach out to them directly if you believe you should be authorized.

If you’re unsure which portal to use, contact your Content Provider or reach out to us for assistance.
